A. Shoppers running every which way. Nice one Mr McIvor!

It’s the first rule of going on a shoot – make sure your last shot is near a decent pub. And this was indeed a decent pub. Roll on the next Dublin shoot.

Our old friend Eddie Gardner has been showing his talent again. He writes from Dublin:
A group of concerned citizens (colin, mat, dublin jonny and me) were pissed off with the amount of money wasted on the political advertising over the last weeks. We thought it would be good to voice our frustrations with a piece of environmental art to illustrate how the money could have been put to better use.”
The inscription on the poster house reads:
There are estimated to be as many as 3000 homeless people in the Dublin area. The amount of money spent on political advertising alone could have put a roof over all their heads for the three weeks – the duration of the poster campaign.
Nice one Eddie.

For some of us at Elm House Creative, this view is becoming a regular one – the approach to Connolly Station in Dublin. We’re up and down two, three or four days a week at present. It’s even got to the stage now where people are recognising us and starting up little chats. And I don’t mean regular Belfast commuters. Even the Dundalk and Drogheda guys are saying hello. But the thing is, all this travel plays havoc with laptop batteries. Why doesn’t the Enterprise have the same laptop connections you get on the Cork train?
