Bruce is in town…

Just to celebrate the fact that some of us are off to see Bruce this weekend, we thought we’d play you a rare clip. Incidentally, notice the particularly fine drumming on this by our mate Larry Mullen Jnr.

Michael’s popping up everywhere.

Our Michael is revelling in the fact that suddenly he has become a media luvvy. After appearances on GMTV, Radio Ulster and interviews in the local and Dublin press, he just seems to be everywhere.

GMTV: Here we capture a moment just before Michael’s appearance.

And here’s one just after it.

Return of the Friday Video

It’s been a while since we had some fun with the Friday Vid. So here goes. (Over 9 million hits for this can’t be wrong).]

Launching the Stamp Out Stigma campaign

Claire Daly – our new Media Director who has just joined us from Genesis Advertising – teams up with Brian and Michael to launch the ‘Personally Speaking’ book we published for the HIV Stigma campaign. We were warmly greeted and very well looked after by An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern in Government buildings in Dublin.

On the Stamp Out Stigma set were…

Producer: Paul “Mona Lisa Smile” Tully

Director: Colin “Reef” McIvor

Writer: (he’s the bald bloke annoying Andrea.)

Account Director: Second from left, Michael keeps an eagle eye on clients, cast, crew and sandwiches.

And the clients: Mick, Noel and the brilliant Emily – with Uncle Eamon.

The ‘Stamp Out Stigma’ shoot – thanks to Sinead, Andrea, Larry, Eamon and John

Sometimes, big stars get a bad press. Well, OK, more than sometimes. So allow me to tip the balance a little – in favour of the stars we worked with:

Larry Mullen Jnr – absolutely the coolest rock star in the world ever. Without question. To die for. End of story. Period.

Sinead O’Connor – as beautiful as ever with a totally amazing heart.

Andrea Corr – super-friendly, super-intelligent, super-woman.

Eamon Dunphy – “So did yis see the match last night, lads?” Like your favourite uncle. No airs, no graces – just an incredible sense of justice.

John Rocha – should have been boarding a flight to India as we were shooting but insisted on doing it. Warning – don’t make him laugh, it will take forever to get him to stop.

Thanks guys.

Meet the Book behind the Campaign.

A very cheap looking snap of what is a rather profound book, full of personal accounts of the HIV-related stigma in Ireland and around the world.
